Esse cigarettes3/25/2023 Within the cohort studied by Chia et al, the lower sperm concentrations and higher rates of abnormal sperm morphology identified in smokers were also found to be dose dependent. 12 Chia et al 13 reported similar results in 618 Chinese men. Another study of 200 infertile men found higher rates of reduced sperm motility and abnormal sperm morphology among smokers. 10, 11 Zhang et al found that superoxide dismutase levels were inversely correlated with the amount and duration of cigarette smoking, suggesting a relationship among smoking, oxidative stress, and infertility. The authors also examined the physiological basis for these changes by testing seminal plasma levels of superoxide dismutase, which is an enzyme that participates in the oxidative stress pathway and has been previously shown to be lower in the seminal plasma of infertile men. Zhang et al 9 studied 362 Chinese men attending an infertility clinic and found that smokers demonstrated decreased semen volumes, sperm concentrations, and rates of forward progression compared with nonsmokers. Several smaller studies have corroborated the aforementioned findings. Effects on ejaculate volume were found in a study by Saaranen et al, 8 who noted smokers had lower semen volumes per ejaculate than nonsmokers with a more specific inhibition occurring in men who smoked > 16 cigarettes per day. Furthermore, morphology (percent of normal forms) as well as ejaculate volume was slightly affected by smoking but not to any significant degree. In another large cohort of 1786 men undergoing infertility workup (655 smokers and 1131 nonsmokers), Kunzle et al 7 demonstrated that smoking was associated with decreases in sperm density (15.3%), total sperm counts (17.5%), and total motile sperm (16.6%) compared with nonsmokers. It was concluded that adult smoking resulted in moderate impairment of semen quality. Indeed, men who smoked > 20 cigarettes per day experienced a 19% reduction in sperm concentration compared with nonsmokers, even after controlling for age, recent fevers, and duration of abstinence as well as diseases in reproductive organs. Further, it was suggested that the relationship between smoking and sperm concentration was dose-dependent. A cross-sectional analysis of 2542 healthy men from 1987 to 2004 by Ramlau-Hansen et al 6 found that on semen analysis, cigarette smokers had lower semen volumes, sperm counts, and percentage of motile sperm compared to men who did not smoke. Smoking has been shown to have a detrimental effect on various parameters of semen analysis. 5 This review examines the literature to elucidate the potential effects of cigarette smoking on male infertility.Įffects of Smoking on Semen Analysis Parameters Thus, male factor infertility plays a significant role in 50% of all couples with infertility. An additional 20% of infertile couples have a combination of male and female factors. 4 Although almost half of all cases of infertility are due exclusively to female factors, the male factor is the sole etiology in approximately 30% of couples. 3 It has been estimated that up to 15% of all couples attempting to have children face some form of infertility. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine defines infertility as the inability to achieve pregnancy following 12 months of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. 2 More recently, researchers have begun to explore the relationship between cigarette smoking and reproductive health. 1 Smoking has been linked to a myriad of adverse health outcomes, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and cancer of the lungs, bladder, cervix, esophagus, kidney, pancreas, and stomach. It has been estimated that over one third of all men globally smoke some form of tobacco and that 21.6% of American men smoke cigarettes.

New ran online private server 20173/25/2023 Without WTFast, I had a respectable (for the distance) ping of 246ms when connecting to this distant server. “I ran a second test in League of Legends where I connected to its Oceania server. To WTFast’s credit, its ping was tied with that of IPVanish for the fastest ping of the group, ahead of Private Internet Access’s ping of 46ms, ExpressVPN’s ping of 47ms, and Keep Solid VPN Unlimited’s ping of 65ms. Because my baseline ping was so good, none of the VPN services were able to lower it. I live in southern New Hampshire and when I launched WTFast, I let it choose a server, and it selected a server in New York. For this test, I was connected to a League of Legends server in North America. With WTFast, my ping slowed by a single millisecond to 44ms, which isn't the result you want to see, but frankly there was little room for improvement there to begin with. With League of Legends, I had an extremely snappy average ping of 43ms without using the service. After I launched WTFast and picked League of Legends from its list of games, each time I launched the game from that point on, WTFast sprang into action and routed the game’s traffic through its servers. I was able to test WTFast’s effect on ping in online games of League of Legends, Overwatch, and Team Fortress 2, however. PerformanceBecause WTFast doesn’t reroute regular Web traffic, the SpeedOf.Me test for measuring upload and downloads speed we've used to evaluate other VPNs is not applicable for the service. It all happens automatically with no further user input required. After you have registered a game with WTFast, it fires up each time you launch the game to route the traffic through its servers. You can pick your game from WTFast’s extensive list or add a custom game by pointing it to the game’s EXE file. To use WTFast, you must tell it which online game you want to route through its servers. Unlike some VPNs that let you choose only a country or city, WTFast lets you drill down further and select a specific server to connect to. Of the five VPN services we tested, that’s a below-average number of servers and an average number of countries. WTFast has more than 200 servers in 48 countries. When selecting your own server, you can sort by ping or geography. If you launch WTFast manually, like other VPNs, it gives you the option of connecting to what it deems the optimal server or letting you choose a specific server. The company partnered with Asus to bake WTFast into two Asus routers.ĭanielle Abraham + 1 more FeaturesWTFast installs a small icon in the Windows system tray that you can use to launch the service, but it also connects you to its service automatically once you have connected it to an online game. I tested the Basic plan on a Windows 10 PC, and there are not versions for Mac or Linux, or mobile apps. The Advanced plan lets you tweak settings to remember settings, use multi-server connections, and use custom server ports. The lack of simultaneous connections is less of an issue here than with a standard VPN since you're unlikely to be gaming on more than one device at time, but it's something to keep in mind if you live in a household with multiple heavy gamers. Also it's worth noting that other VPNs allow up to five or more simultaneous connections. Both plans lets you connect only one device at a time, so splitting a WTFast subscription with your roommates isn’t an option. In the UK? Start a free trial with WTFast VPN here. WTFast offers a 14-day trial so you can test it out with your favorite games to see if it improves your ping and connection stability. The service costs $9.99 a month billed monthly, $28.47 billed quarterly, $53.95 billed every 6 months, or $99.90 billed annually. This is a product for online gamers and online gamers only. PricingWTFast is among the more affordable VPNs you’ll find, but again it doesn’t offer the protection and anonymity of a full-service VPN.

Export to iconjar3/25/2023 Webflow could bring up a system for us to use file SVG with the benefit of inline SVGs, being able to address classes inside the SVG, color them, animate them. And I strongly count on both Webflow, icons makers and icons management softwares to use them even more in the future. Yes, I use SVG for icons, more than ever. But now that I did this research, I may consider it. So you are adding the basic pieces to the Webflow dashboard?Īctually no, I was saying that I’ve been lazier than that and only rely on what Webflow asks: the favicon and the web app icon. That attribute can specify a single color with a hexadecimal value ( #990000), an RGB value (rgb(153, 0, 0)), or a recognized color-keyword, such as: red, lime, or navy. In the example, the color attribute sets the display color of the image. Add the following markup to all your pinnable webpages, replacing “website_icon” with your own file’s name: Use an SVG image with a transparent background and 100% black for all vectors. You can set the pinned tab icon for your site by providing a vector image. Pinned sites allow your users to keep their favorite websites open, running, and easily accessible. Teletext holidays contact3/24/2023 More concerned inviting customers to write reviews for them as recent days the reviews have been that negative - than sorting out what is causing the negative reviews in first place? Sort it out teletext! How is this even acceptable to run a business like they do? An they try and control anyone writing negative reviews on any media platforms but think its ok to keep your money!įounder has blocked 3 different email accounts. Company needs investigating.įounder complains when you email him, yet sales happy to bombared you 16 calls when they think they are making a sale. £900 spent with them and now ignoring any request for a refund! Sure its illegal to do what they are doing. I paid £900 for a holiday they oversold promised phonecalls back - nothing. Now founder has blocked my email so ive had to email from another account which also got blocked so yes, used a third *My review picture is my email being blocked by Wayne Perks the founder - What a lovely company!** Blocked any type of complaint you try and make on instragram or email. Teletext blocked previous review due to violation. I included Martin Lewis and Watchdog twitter feeds in my twitter postings and this seems to make a difference, but it really shouldn't take this. I finally got my £1113 back yesterday after a lot of calls and emails and using twitter to bring it to the public's attention but i now feel given all what i have been through that i should have my holiday deposit and cancellation fee returned as compensation and i simply not going to let them of the hook that easily, they need to understand they have a responsibility to the consumer and cannot simply ignore this responsibility. And above all they believe it is acceptable to charge me a cancellation charge for a service that is nothing short of beyond awful. They have simply lost the ability to provide customer service.Īt the time of writing complaint email to them I had been dealing with this problem for five hours which was and is totally unacceptable, this notwithstanding all the time I have lost constantly chasing these guys to cancel the holiday in the first place. I was a long-term returning customer over many years and the way I had been treated is nothing short of shameful, at a time when the travel industry is struggling I would have expected teletext hols to have a desire to retain as many good customers as possible. I expect my refunds with immediate effect. I stressed that given the stress and time they had cost me I was also seeking a refund of my deposit and my cancellation fee as compensation. I provided transcripts of previous live conversations with teletext. Which may I add the TTNG done very little so no point in there body being in place. I also lodged a dispute with my bank and also, which was laos very time consuming in doing and chasing up, I also lodged a complaint via Resolver I had also reported them to The Travel Network Group. I advised it was not a system glitch it was in fact total incompetence on behalf of teletext holidays. I finally got through to an operative, Mr Thomas XXXXX, and he has confirmed I will get an email confirmed the refund and it was a system glitch. I complained of the emotional and financial stress they me under, my calls were very rarely answered by an operative and, in many cases, I was cut off without event speaking to an operative. This created a significant void in my finances, and they had taken money that is simply not payable nor theirs to take. I was advised at the time that no further deductions would be made from my bank account, roll forward to the 1st June and they chose to deduct £1113 from my bank account which I reported to my bank as wrong and potentially fraudulent. Their T&Cs give indication of what it may cost to cancel but given it was at least 90 until my holiday i was willing to accept the loss of my deposit. In short, I cancelled my holiday in May at an additional cost to me of £137 plus my deposit which was shock give I cancelled it in good time and at the time I would possibly lose my deposit. I need and want my money back as I’m not working due to Covid 19 I have just texted Brent and tweeted telling them that unless I get a call today I am reporting them to Watchdog, who I know will be very interested. Have tweeted everyday this week and been promised a call back NOTHING. Last call was Friday when I demanded a cheque of which he replied ‘ I will ask head office and call you back in 1 hour’. To be fair I have had a call from Brent in India telling me I have been refunded, surprise surprise no money. I tweet everyday and am told I will get a call. Live chat is useless and the only way I get any results is by Tweeter. They said they would and I would get in 7 days. O my god, I stupidly booked a holiday for the end of the year with Teletext and all seemed ok until Gary Parker called me back asking for another £550.00 as their card wasn’t working and they couldn’t book our flights.
